What you need to know before you sign up
The course is designed so that you finish knowing how to do what a QA does every day: read user stories, write test cases, run them, report bugs and communicate with the team. Lots of practice in a simulated work environment.

The challenge requires no technical knowledge: we assess judgment, attention to detail and the desire to learn.

Fundamentals and test design
The role of QA, the software lifecycle, test types and levels, design techniques and test cases from user stories.
Execution and bug reporting
Running tests, documenting and prioritizing defects, and managing work in Jira within an agile team.
UI automation
Playwright, TypeScript and BDD with Cucumber, test design patterns, reporting and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Testing with AI agents
Prompts for QA, agents that generate test cases and test data, assisted execution and how to review and validate what the AI produces.
APIs and databases
REST, HTTP methods and status codes, Postman and Swagger, contract validation and SQL queries to verify data.
Mobile applications
Testing on Android and iOS, real devices and emulators, permissions, connectivity, gestures and usability on small screens.
Security testing
OWASP Top 10, common web vulnerabilities, authentication and session handling, and how to report findings responsibly.
Certification preparation

Common questions
What are the requirements to take part?
Being a member of the Underc0decommunity. No previous experience in testing or programming is needed: the course starts from scratch.
Which courses do you offer?
Manual QA, QA Automation, Agentic QA and preparation for the ISTQB certification. There are also courses on Mobile QA, API testing and security testing.
Do the courses include a certificate?
Yes. Every course awards a certificate on completion.
How do I enroll?
Before each course starts we announce it on our social media and on the WhatsApp channel. You need to fill in a form and solve a challenge. The form is published on all our channels.
How do I find out if I was selected?
Once you have filled in the form and solved the challenge, we email you the next steps. We also announce everyone who was selected on our social media.
Is it in person or online?
Both. In-person classes are held in Mendoza, Argentina; online classes run on Discord.
